A 5-minute animated short produced with a four-person team over four months. I directed the film while personally executing approximately 80% of the production work, designing every character and background, co-writing the script, and distributing shots across the team based on individual skill levels. Official Finalist, Kingstoon Animation Festival 2021. Selected for exhibition, JAFTA and We Are Parable Screening, 2024.

Problem
Producing a coherent, finished animated short with a small team, limited resources, and a tight schedule required holding the director and primary production artist roles simultaneously without losing visual consistency across the film.
Solution
A clear production hierarchy, deliberate simplification of scenes where necessary, and direct shot distribution based on each team member's strengths. The film finished on schedule, screened at Kingstoon, and was later selected for international exhibition.
The goal of Haze was to deliver a fullscreen horizontal experience to showcase photography and branding projects that look awesome on bigger formats.
